By using Jikan (jikan.me), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
You're responsible for your account security. Use a strong password and don't share your credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use Jikan.
Jikan gives you tools to build, scan, and optimize CVs. You may use them for personal, professional, and commercial purposes. Don't use the service to generate fraudulent or misleading content.
You own your CV data. We don't claim any intellectual property rights over the content you create. You can export or delete your data at any time. Even if your paid plan expires, we will not delete your data. See section 4 for details.
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly. You can cancel anytime — your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase. If your subscription lapses or you cancel, your account is downgraded to the Free plan. Your data (CVs, scan results, tracker entries) is never deleted — it remains in your account. You simply lose access to premium features (AI optimization, advanced tracker, export, etc.) until you re-subscribe. We retain your data for at least 12 months after your last login.
AI-powered features (CV optimization, cover letter generation) use third-party AI providers. While we strive for quality, AI output may not always be perfect. Always review and verify AI-generated content.
Jikan is provided as-is. We do our best to keep the platform running and your data safe, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We're not liable for damages arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
